Carers Support and Wellbeing is a not for profit organisation operating in the area between Eastbourne to Peacehaven to Lewes to Hailsham and the surrounding areas.
Maxine Kerr
Maxine set up Carers Support And Wellbeing in July 2021 when the charity project that she worked for closed down due to funding issues and she felt that not having this support for these carers would leave a hole within the community.
Maxine has worked with family and carers supporting a loved one with substance issues for the last 8 years and she has had personal experience of substance misuse in her family.
Maxine has worked in many different charity organisations supporting vulnerable people and she is a counsellor in private practice.

Maxine is supported by 3 voluntary directors who have an input to the project and meet bi monthly to discuss its direction.
